Cruisers Comfort
What an awesome place to hang out on shore and catch-up. The new location with out own natural protected habitat against the Cruisers Comfort palapa, it’s a comfortable place to sit and a nice garden like atmosphere. The high-speed WIFI keeps you connected, and basic cruisers services are here to help you take advantage of being ashore. Just clean up after yourselves and donate as you feel is appropriate to help cover expenses.
Chart Lending Library
Mike was also able to save and have ready the “Chart Lending Library” with the info for coping the paper charts you need. Every year cruisers that are preparing for Offshore passages, have used these charts to prepare themselves for the atolls and islands of the South Pacific. There are Charts for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean as well.
Nautical Library
Books covering all aspects of life on the sea are available to read. Everything from world cruising routes, to mechanical diagrams for diesel motors, are available. Come to take a look, you may just find the gem you have been searching for.
Seminars and Kids Club
Through out the seas on we need a place to be community and prepare for offshore, Cruisers Comfort is that place. Every year Mike and Kat organize to get people ready for going offshore, and Cruisers Comfort at PV Sailing is where most of it happens. Another passion for Mike and Kat is Kat’s Marina La Cruz Kids Club. Every year kids are welcome to come to PV Sailing and hang out at Cruisers Comfort to have their own time away from adults. (Mike and Kat are just big kids anyway)
The Sail Loft and Rigging shop
Mike is generally working in the Sail Loft just just adjacent to Cruisers Comfort, and he is the best resource available. He always has a few minutes to talk, helping you find things you need or advice on projects for your boat. Always trying to help the local community Mike and PV Sailing have the resources to make your visit to La Cruz and Banderas Bay memorable. Located just out the Marina La Cruz entrance, it is a convenient short walk.
