Sail Repair
You need your sail repaired? Good news we can do a complimentary sail survey. Bring your sail to the loft conveniently located just out the entrance to Marina Riviera Nayarit (Marina La Cruz). Getting the sail on deck we walk it and check fabric, stitching, and chafe to determine the cause of failure. Once the reason for the failure is determined you will be given options for repair based on your travel plans. You will also receive an estimate as to the value of the sail, this helps make decisions about repair vs. replacement.

Rigging
Standing rigging is constantly needing inspection and sometimes adjustment. PV Sailing is very adept at tunning your rig to its best performance and durability and presents seasonal rigging seminars such as “Get The Balance Right”, How sails and Standing rigging work together and against each other. As well as “When Big Things Break”. Both Seminars are presented free to those here on Banderas Bay preparing to go offshore. Many spare parts are in stock at the loft, or Peter from Sea Tek may have them available. Even if the parts need to be brought in from the US, PV Sailing has been doing this for over 26 years. Experience with different shipping services and being tied into the community helps get the parts here faster than most other outlets.
PV Sailing is industry connected at the engineering level with Forespar, LeisureFurl, Harken, Hallspar, Bamar, and many others as well as outlets such as West Marine, Defender, Sailing Supply, and Rigworks. Likely every type of sailing system has been serviced or repaired in the shop by Mike at some point over the past 26 yrs. If it can be repaired we likely have a way to get you back on the water in short order.
